Ontario Geneology Society
The objective of the Society is to encourage the study of genealogy and original genealogical research in the Province of Ontario; to be recognized as the authority and leader in all aspects of Ontario related family history research, preservation and communication and to encourage, bring together and assist those interested in the pursuit of family history and to preserve our Ontario genealogical heritage.
The Ontario Historical Society
Founded in 1888, the Ontario Historical Society is a non-profit, non-government corporation and registered charity bringing together people from all cultural backgrounds interested in preserving and promoting Ontario's history.
Archives of Ontario
Since 1903, the Archives of Ontario has been providing innovative leadership in collecting, managing and preserving the records of the Government of Ontario and promoting and facilitating their use by present and future generations. The Archives of Ontario is the second largest archives in Canada and provides access to a unique and multi-faceted collection that includes records dating back to the late 16th century, containing everything from hand-written ledgers to electronic files, hand-drawn maps, architectural drawings, photographs, films and sound recordings.

The Ontario Heritage Trust
The Ontario Heritage Trust – the province's heritage agency – is dedicated to identifying, protecting, renewing and promoting Ontario's rich and diverse built, cultural and natural heritage that has influenced and continues to shape our society for the benefit of present and future generations. Thes site is maintained by the Ontario Heritage Trust, an agency of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
The Canadian History Society
The Canada History Society is dedicated to the promotion of Canadian history, heritage and culture through content creation and distribution of materials, public examination and debate of events in Canadian history, and the initiation and participation in events, programs and projects intended to create awareness of our past.
