Our Mission Statment

The Hastings County Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization which was established in 1957 to promote interest in the history of Hastings County. The objectives of the Society are to:
 

• promote and encourage research on the history of Hastings County
• provide information and educational services about the history of Hastings County to its citizens and school-aged students
• maintain archives for the deposit of historically significant documents for present and future generations to be able to access and enjoy
• encourage the preservation, use, maintenance and enjoyment of all historically significant objects and buildings within Hastings County
• promote activities towards the preservation of the heritage and culture of the people of Hastings County for present and future generations
